The official closing ceremony of the Vietnam International Army Games 2021.

The official closing ceremony of the Vietnam International Army Games 2021, held by the Ministry of Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam since August 31, took place on September 4, 2021,

Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Committee, Minister of Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Army General Pham Van Giang, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexey Krivoruchko, Heads and representatives of Diplomatic missions of the participant countries of the Army Games 2021 accredited to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, military attachés and other guests attended the closing ceremony.

Member of the Political Bureau, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Committee, Minister of Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, General Phan Van Giang, and the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexei Krivoruchko delivered speeches at the closing ceremony of the Vietnam International Army Games.

Minister of Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Army General Fan Van Giang in his speech, gave importance to holding similar events, that allow participants from different countries not only to compete, show and improve their skills, but also to establish close ties between the participating countries.

The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexey Krivoruchko in his speech also stressed the need of holding similar events, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. He expressed readiness to expand cooperation between the two countries in the fields of defense and security.

After the opening speeches, the final results of the competitions were summarized and the teams that took the first, the second and the third places were awarded with medals and souvenirs.

After the closing ceremony of the Vietnam International Army Games 2021, the guests and participants were invited to visit the exhibition hall, where samples of military equipment of the participating countries were displayed.

Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Vietnam Aramazd Muradyan participated in the closing ceremony of the Vietnam International Army Games 2021.
